Pro-Palestinian protestors are upset about the way they were treated during a protest last Friday at Seattle’s World Trade Center.
There were only a handful of protestors at Monday morning’s press conference at the Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct, but they say they speak for scores more who feel police violated their rights.
“Drop the charges, identify and fire the Commanding Officer, investigate the police violence, and publicly report it,” Robert Engler, one protester, demanded at the news conference.
A handful of protestors were arrested. Several said demonstrators were mistreated.
“SPD violently assaulted, slashed tires, used chemical weapons, chased and dog piled people,” a protester only identified as Judas said.
